It's be a lovely first week back and we have started it by printing images that represent Tewkesbury. These images included: the York and Lancaster roses, the Abbey and the York coat of arms.
We traced our chosen images before engraving pieces of foam with the same images. Afterwards, we rolled paint on to the foam and used another rolling pin to print the pictures on to coloured card. As a result, we now have some great representations of our home town decorating our classroom walls.

We had a very busy and practical Thursday this week with lessons in Art, Science and Food D.T. In Art we finished off our ancient Greek vases by adding golden patterns and human figures using acrylic paint. Our science lesson involved observing the irreversible change that occurs when mixing bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Lastly, in Food D.T we used and refined a recipe to make hummus. It's safe to say that it was one busy but enjoyable day!
